Cooking Today

We have quite a bit of ham in our freezer since we raise hogs. I decided to cook one of the hams up today. We had some for dinner and I will take some tomorrow for our church dinner. I made some potatoes, 40 minute rolls, and corn to go with it. I made extra rolls so I will have some to take tomorrow.
For dessert I made peach cobbler. This recipe came from a Paula Deen cookbook. I love this recipe. It is definitely a southern style cobbler since it contains 1 stick of butter and self rising flour so it is not at all healthy or low fat. But it is so good warm topped with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. It is not something I make too often but I was in the mood for it today. If you like peach cobbler give this one a try.
