Meal Planning Monday

I am still trying to recover from vacation and company. But I think I have this week’s menu figured out.

We are now getting a lot from the garden. We have quite a few cucumbers, tomatoes, and melons. Plus some carrots, zucchini, and onions. I am going to try to incorporate as much as those as possible into the meals this week.

Breakfast

Baked French Toast and bacon (both from the freezer)

cereal

yogurt and muffins or bread

eggs and toast

overnight waffles (new recipe)

Lunch

hotdogs

sandwiches

leftovers

Dinner

pesto, bread, and melon

gazpacho and bushetta

pinto beans and bread

Indonesian Chicken with rice

hamburgers and french fries and vegetables

pizza

homemade refried beans, rice, chips and home made salsa

Misc.

  1. Those overnight waffles sound really good, I’ll have to try those.

FYI, I’ve got zuchinni bread in the oven right now! My daughter’s favorite! Stop by my menu and also enter a chance to win some Hansen’s Natural Sparkling Water to have with all of the meals we are planning!

  3. Someday I’m really going to have to try and make my own pizza crust – I’ve always been intimidated by it but I really want to be able to.
