Martha’s Recipes

I love Martha Stewart’s recipes and cookbooks. Yes, some of them are a little over the top but overall I really enjoy her recipes. I get so inspired when I look through her cookbooks.

If you have read my blog for a while you will know that I love her cookie cookbook. It is great. I have tried several recipes out of it and I have found some great new cookies. I think my all time favorite Martha recipe is her Banana Bread. I love it. It came from her entertaining cookbook. I make it more often than any other of her recipes. She also has a great pancake recipe in her Comfort Foods cookbook. I will have to post that sometime. I could go on and on about some of her recipes.

I recently found out that Martha Stewart is coming out with a cooking school cookbook. This sounds really neat to me. I love reading about new tips and ideas and things that I can do to make my cooking better.

Martha’s staff also has a great food blog called Dinner Tonight. If you have not read it you should check it out. They post a lot of stuff on it. I get a lot of great ideas from reading this.

Martha’s website is also a great source of ideas and recipes. They also have websites for the Everyday Foods and Everyday Baking Shows. I love looking around those sites also.

I guess that is enough about Martha. But in case you are interested she is having a blog contest. I may just click on some of the comments looking for some new food blogs.

  1. Here from Martha Stewart’s blog. I’m definitely going to try butter the next time I make oven potatoes. I usually use olive oil and seasonings.

I have a banana bread recipe I’ve made for years, but I think this is our new favorite.

I also have a cooking blog, but I don’t get to post as often as I like.

I found you through Susan! Isn’t she great!?!

    Have a great weekend!
