Last week’s menu plan did not go quite so well. I just had one of those weeks. I hope this week will go better.
I received two free cookbooks in the mail last week. I did not realize that one advantage to having a food blog would be free cookbooks. I love cookbooks. I will be glad to review any cookbooks that anyone wants to send me.
I am going to try a few of the recipes from them this week.
Here is the menu for this week.
Breakfast
french toast sticks
cereal
eggs and apple bread
pancakes
Lunch
home made mac and cheese
mexican rice and beans
sandwiches
Dinner
pizza
swiss steak over rice
stroganoff
breakfast for dinner
bacon and spinach quiche
KC Masterpiece ( a pasta dish)

What are the names of the cookbooks you received?
Nancy, one was a Country Bob’s cookbook. It was published by the company that also sent me the free sauce. The other one is a casserole cookbook that is a pre release copy. The cookbook is called Casserole Crazy and is being released sometime in October. I have not looked over the casserole one much. It looks really interesting and I hope to try a few of the recipes and post about them.
