I would say that last week was a really busy week, but lately every week has been really busy. So, I guess last week was normal. I hope this week will be a little slower but we will have to see how it goes.
Last week I did not make the pork roast, so I am putting it on the menu again. My oldest daughter’s birthday is this week and we always let them choose the menu for the day. It is always interesting to see what kids will come up with for their favorite meals. She wants pancakes for breakfast and egg salad sandwiches for lunch. Those are pretty normal. For dinner though she wants barbecue chicken and homemade refried beans. Now, that is an interesting combination but since it is her birthday we will give it a try. She decided that she wanted an ice cream cake using peanut butter cup ice cream for her cake. We are all looking forward to that.
