I had been making garlic sweet pickles and tried that brine. It is a favorite. We eat the pickled beans like pickles. They stay crunchy even after 3 years!! My family doesn't eat a lot of pickles, but dilly beans are an exception. They are also a great gift idea. My hubby's friend was thrilled to find them in a gourmet shop a few years ago and when I've seen them in the store, they are over $6 a jar. So, if for some reason you don't love them, pack them up with other goodies and give them as gifts. They are a must-make here every year. My family doesn’t eat a lot of pickles, but dilly beans are an exception.

They are also a great gift idea. My hubby’s friend was thrilled to find them in a gourmet shop a few years ago and when I’ve seen them in the store, they are over $6 a jar. So, if for some reason you don’t love them, pack them up with other goodies and give them as gifts.
