I made these delicious bars and wrote about them here. I loved the cake batter mix crust! I'm especially excited as one of the kids in my daughter's church group is allergic to eggs. It's always nice to be able to have a dessert that he can eat too. Thank you for posting this recipe!

I just made these, with two additions — I added 1/2 cup white chocolate chips because I had them laying around, and I sprinkled the bars lightly (very lightly!!) with flake sea salt when they came out of the oven. Oh and I used chopped hazelnuts instead of pevans, because I also had them on hand. Turned out terrific…college student son and his pals loved them! I think these are better than with the graham cracker base. Thanks!!

Oops! When I said these were my favorite last night, I meant with the graham cracker crumbs. Just saw the picture and went with it. But, this version does look delicious!

Yum! That sounds like something my dad likes that we call Hello Dolly’s, except we don’t put butterscotch in them. I am going to have to try this recipe because butterscotch is my weakness!
