Taste of Home Cookbook Giveaway

Taste of Home magazine and Reiman Publications gave me my love of cooking. If it was not for Taste Of Home, I do not think I would love cooking like I do today.

When I got married in 1994 I owned two cookbooks. They were volume 1 and 2 of Country Cooking that were published by Reiman publications in the early 1990’s. In the early 1990’s Reiman publications also started the cooking magazine Taste of Home.

A friend of mine gave me a subscription to Taste of Home magazine as a wedding gift. She continued to give it to me the first few years I was married. I devoured these magazines. I would read and reread them. I planned my menus using the recipes.

What I loved about the recipes in both the magazine and the cookbooks was the fact that they were easy. These recipes contained ingredients that I had and could afford. I will forever be grateful to my friend Betty Jo for such a great wedding gift. She will never know how much I appreciated them. I am sure she had no clue that it would start me on the cooking journey that it did.

Many of my favorite recipes for breakfasts, meals, and desserts are Taste of Home recipes.

When I was thinking of what cookbooks I wanted to giveaway over the next few months, I knew Taste Of Home cookbooks had to be included in the giveaways.

So today I am giving away 3 copies of Taste Of Home’s Ground Beef Cookbook. I own the older version of this that was published in the 1990’s, but I also own the updated version I am giving away. It is full of quick and easy recipes using ground beef.

This giveaway will end Tuesday April 13 , 2010 at 6:00 pm.
