Summertime Salads

by Lynn

Summertime is the perfect time for salads. We eat them as main dishes and side dishes. We enjoy vegetable salads and pasta salads.

Here are a few of our favorites.

Tomato Salad

Tomato Pasta Salad

Creamy Fruit Salad

Greek Pasta Salad

Here is a dessert salad for you. Snickers Apple Salad

( My kids are going to miss this one. I may have to find a nut free candy bar to use)

What is your favorite kind of salad?

I’ll vouch for the Snickers Apple Salad as being good. I made this one for my dad a few years ago since he was a die-hard Snickers fan. It was super sweet but oh so good!

We love Snicker Salad! I put my apples in a lemon/water bath to keep the apples from browning – but I bet it isn’t necessary. I am going to skip that step next time and see.

I have yet to try the snickers salad, but I’ve seen it several times. How about using hershey bar? :D

I’m a huge pasta salad lover especially in the summer and I’m always looking for new interesting recipes. Thanks for the ideas!

Love the Snickers salad – but that Greek Pasta Salas also looks divine!

I like broccoli/cauliflower salad. One of our favorites at family gatherings. Raw broccoli, raw cauliflower, sliced black olives, peas, crispy bacon, cheese, green onions, shredded carrots, & ranch dressing..yum!
