  4. I know it as celery root but I think there is another name for it. Just not sure what it is in English. I got to know about this when we lived in Austria.

  8. I thought it was a large turnip, but now I am not so sure…the leaves don’t look much like turnip leaves.

    Celery root aka celeriac. I cut it into pieces and roast it with other root vegetables such as beets, potato, winter squashes, etc with a small amount of evoo, salt pepper and rosemary.

    celery root- makes a great winter salad if you shred it, add it to shredded carrots and dress with lemon, olive oil, salt and pepper! Yum!
