See’s Candy and a Giveaway

Linda won with the comment, I learned about See’s candy from my mother-in-law many years ago. She absolutely loved it and said it was the best candy out there, bar none. She always brought our two girls goody baskets at Easter but hubby and I got a box of See’s. I’ll never forget that…it was a lovely, fun tradition. My favorite flavors were the fruit filled. Mmmm good.

Thanks for entering everyone!

I am a west coast girl. I was born and raised in Oregon. So, when See’s Candy, a company founded on the west coast, contacted me about working with them on a giveaway, I was excited, because it is a company and candy, that I know and love.

I grew up knowing all about Sees Candy. It was the chocolate of choice, especially for special occasions. I remember well giving and receiving See’s Candy during the holidays. And I remember going into the store at the mall and being amazed at all the different choices of chocolate.

My favorite of the See’s Chocolate has always been the fruit filled ones. You just can’t go wrong the raspberry cream or the lemon, but the pecan candy and the brittle are also very good.  Really, I am not sure I can pick a favorite See’s Candy because they are all so good.

And for those of you with allergies and food issues they even have an allergen page on their site. They sent my daughter who has the nut allergy some of their little pops and they were really good.

Now for the giveaway.

See’s Candy is giving away 1- $25 gift card to one of my readers.

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment, but I would love to hear what your favorite flavor or memory of See’s Candy is.

One entry per person. Giveaway will end Tuesday, June 12th, at 6 pm CST.

For more information please see my giveaway policy.

Disclaimer: I received free product from See’s Candy, but my thoughts and opinions are my own.

I don’t remember which particular See’s candy I tried/purchased but, I remember moaning aloud about its creamy decadence. I had heard about them and in 2008 my husband and I were in Las Vegas, NV and came upon a See’s candy shoppe – I told him they were suppose to be the ultimate chocolate … he isn’t big on chocolate. I was, am and always will be … Mmmmmm See’s!

  58. theresa Adkins says:

Im new to the west..but discovered that Sees at our local mall carried ‘Scotch Kisses” — without a doubt the very best candy out there. I dont get to get any except at Christmas time…they are fairly expensive and not in our budget, but i do dream of them often…..if you get a chance, try them. (Caramel and marshmellow – yum) I would love some right now…you had to make me think about them didnt you…..

  59. I remember my dad always went to See’s because he’s diabetic and they had REALLY GOOD sugar-free candies, but he would always bring me those awesome suckers See’s has!

  64. I used to live in California. The thing I love about See’s is that you can go in to the store and fill up the box with the flavors you want, so you don’t get a bunch of flavors that you don’t like. My favorite is the Victorian Toffee (or something like that). I also love their peanut brittle.

  73. Colleen D. says:

I STILL live in Oregon and STILL love See’s Candy! I grew up eating a 1 lb box, after a 1 lb. box, after another 1 lb. box. I think you get the idea! My favorite, if I have to choose just one, is the raspberry cream. But maybe it’s the key lime pie truffles. Or maybe it’s the apple pie truffles. How about the walnut bar?

  74. I grew up in SoCal so I know Sees too! My favorite assortment is the nuts and chews. You used to be able to get a solid sheet of the chocolate covered toffee in a box with a little hammer to break it up!

  75. Hard choices….I think my favorite is the key lime truffle or the almond truffle. They are all so good….hmm..rum nugents too :)
