Gluten Free Menu Plan {August 4th-10th}

Slow Cooked Homemade Refried Beans

I am keeping the gluten free menu plan simple this week. It is hot in most parts of the country and everyone is busy. We all need quick and easy gluten free meals.

Here is the plan. I made notes next to what needs to be gluten free, but as always make sure to read labels so that everything is safe for your family.

  1. I just wonder about the baked beans, only because a list I have places baked beans as something to remove from the diet, if you want to be gluten free. Please advise.

    • Some brands of canned or restaurant baked beans are not gluten free. So, if buying canned ones be sure to read labels. I never eat them at a restaurant or any place that I do not know for sure they are gluten free. Homemade ones though as fine though as long as everything you put in them is gluten free, bacon etc. Homemade ones are really the best way to know they are safe to eat.
