Sausage Nachos

Sausage Nachos-

Nachos anyone?!

Is there anyone that does not enjoy nachos? I mean really what could be wrong about tortilla chips, covered in cheese, meat, and all kinds of other deliciousness!

Sausage Nachos

Nachos are perfect for a snack, football game watching, or a fun quick and easy meal. I often end up making nachos on Sunday evening. Sunday evening is the night I don’t usually cook. It is kind of my night off from cooking or at least major cooking.

If I cook it is usually easy like breakfast for dinner, leftovers, or something like sandwiches or nachos.

When I make nachos I like to use leftover taco meat, but I recently changed it up and use some ground sausage that I had on hand and they were delicious!

My family loved how the sausage changed the nachos up and made them a little different. I loved how easy they were to make!

  8. You can also spread this in one layer on a large sheet pan and reduce the baking time.

Lynn, these sound soooo yummy!! We love nachos around here! I can’t wait to try these. Maybe tonight as Saturdays are always busy and my husband is conducting a funeral service today as well.
I think there might be a typo on your recipe. You add the meat twice at the beginning. Maybe the first is to put in a layer of chips?

    • I hope you enjoy them! I actually do layer them. So chips, meat, cheese, chips, meat cheese. We just like to be sure to get meat and cheese on all our chips. You can easily layer them however you want though. I hope that helps.

That’s what I thought. They are extra good with topping on each bite. I have the sausage all thawed and the funeral went well. 🙂
I may not have made sense but I am thinking step number 4 was supposed to be chips, because steps 4 and 5 are to add meat with no layers in between. Thanks again for another great recipe!!

        • Sorry. I misunderstood the first time. Yes, you are right. I fixed it so that chips were step 4. I hope you have a great day!
