Meal Planning Monday

This week I have a pretty simple menu planned. Last night I made Pioneer Woman’s Black Bean chowder and we still have quite a bit left so we will eat that for another night. I am also trying to use up some of my freezer meals.

My in laws are watching our kids Friday so that my husband and I can go out to eat. I am really looking forward to that. My daughters are also wanting to bake some things from one of their kids cookbooks so I think we will give those recipes a try for a few new desserts.

So, here is my menu for the week.


breakfast burritos, from the freezer

yogurt, banana bread with whole wheat, and sausage




twice baked potatoes, from the freezer

chicken salad sandwiches




black bean chowder and quesadillas

orange chicken over rice and vegetables

freezer enchiladas

pork roast and vegetables

french dips and salad
