Bush’s Grillin’ Beans And A Giveaway

May 18, 2011

This time of year I love to grill and last week I mentioned that I was working with Bush’s Grillin’ Beans on a grilling  party featuring Bush’s Grillin’ Beans. I also mentioned a great  giveaway coming up.

Well, today I wanted to share a few details about my party and give you a chance to enter to win a Grillin’ Kit from Bush’s Grillin’ Beans.

Last week I was sent three versions of Bush’s Grilling Beans to try. I received the Texas Rancheros, Southern Pit Barbecue, and Black Bean Fiesta. All three were very good, but I decided to go with a spicy theme for my grilling party, so I choose to use the Texas Rancheros Grillin’ beans.

The Bush’s Grillin’ Beans are perfect on their own. They do not need anything added to them, so they make a great quick and easy side dish. I decided to pair the beans with a main dish of grilled chipotle chicken. It is so easy and so good. It is a perfect recipe to serve a crowd and I will post the recipe next week.

Add in some salad with lettuce from our garden, some homemade lemonade, and an easy chocolate dessert, and you have a perfect grilling party menu.

Now onto the giveaway for the grillin’ kit.

I received a grillin’ kit that included some very nice grilling tools, a can opener, and a Emile Henry dutch oven that is perfect for cooking beans in. The kit also included a $50 gift card and a Bush’s Beans apron that my daughter has claimed as her own. I love the above photo of her carrying the pot of beans.

Now, would anyone like to win this same kit that I received?

One reader will win a grillin’ kit just like I received.

To Enter to win:

  • All you have to do is leave me a comment telling me your favorite food to grill during the summer.

Giveaway will end Friday May 27th, 2011, at 12 pm CST.

And f you are reading this post by email you must click through to my site and leave a comment to enter, replying to this email does not count as an entry.

For giveaway rules please see here.

Disclosure: I am being compensated for working on the Bush Grillin’ Beans campaign and I also received the above kit, but as always my thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love grilling corn on the cob dotted with butter or olive oil, vidiala onions, quartered and drizzles with olive oil, salt & pepper and of course both of these items get wrapped in Reynold’s aluminum foil (so you don’t loose all the buttery goodness!) and with Bush’s grilling beans it completes your entree, wither it be ribs, chicken or just hamburgers.

I love to grill everything in the summer (but I have been known to grill in the snow too). I think grilled fish is my favorite thing, I take any kind of fish I happen to have, rub it down with some olive oil and spices and lay it out on a hot grill. MMMMMMMM Then add some grilled zuchini and onion and dinner is done.

Your food looks great! Can I come eat with you?
We need to buy a new grill so we can grill fish, meaty fish that you don’t have to worry about, but can’t eat very often because of the mercury (grouper, mahi-mahi, tuna, etc.)
