Instant Pot Green Chili Rice

  • 2 cups long grain white rice
  • 1- 14.5 ounce can chicken broth
  • 2 -4 ounce cans chopped green chilies
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons cumin
  • 2 teaspoons oregano


  1. Rinse rice. Don't skip this step. It really does cook better when you rinse it.
  2. Pour rice in the Instant Pot.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
  4. Lock the lid and set the steam valve to sealing.
  5. Cook on manual for 12 minutes.
  6. Once done let rest for 10 minutes.
  7. Carefully release any pressure that is left.
  8. Open the Instant Pot and serve.
