5 Ingredient Oven Omelet

5 Ingredient Oven Omelet-

This oven omelet is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. And it contains only five ingredients, so it is a simple meal to put together any time of the day.

Meals that contain 5 ingredients or less are great, but they often contain prepackaged and boxed ingredients. This doesn’t have to be the case though. You can make simple 5 ingredient or less meals that contain regular, everyday, food that doesn’t come from a box or package.

This oven omelet is not fancy, but it is a simple and delicious meal. My family loves this. And I love how easy it is for busy nights.

I also love this because you can easily change it up by using bacon instead of sausage or a different kind of cheese.

Meals like this are also great for those times that you really need to go to the grocery store, but have not made it yet or are trying to stretch it out a few more days.

I usually have eggs, cheese, and meat of some sort on hand. I have even made this meatless when I didn’t have any to use. If I don’t have enough eggs I will half it and make it in an 8×8 pan. If I serve it with fruit and muffins, I have a simple meal from pantry ingredients.

And I will say that this makes a lot. It is usually a dinner and then we have the leftovers for breakfast the next day.

  1. I was wondering if this could be baked and then cut into single size servings and frozen in small freezer containers? It would make a great grab and go for hubby to take and heat up at work if it can. Thanks. Love your recipes! T..

  2. sounds delicious!

  3. Sorry about the typo on my email.

Will this work in a pie crust? Thanks!

  4. How long would you bake a half recipe?

  5. I don’t think my family would care for the salsa. If I left it out would I need to increase the amount of milk?

    • I would probably increase it a little bit, maybe a few tablespoons. I don’t think you would need to increase it the full amount of salsa. You might also want to add a little seasoning to it to add some flavor, but overall I think it would work fine without the salsa.
