Freezer French Toast

I will start by saying this recipe is NOT healthy and I do not fix it often. It is a treat for my family.

It makes a good holiday meal since it can be made ahead of time. I recently made it when we had company. It works great for a breakfast for company because it can be made a head of time and frozen.

I have been making this recipe for several years. I found it online somewhere, but don’t remember exactly where. It is one of the few freezer breakfast meals that I make.

This recipe makes a 9×13 pan. I like to get bread from the bread outlet and make several pans at once to freeze.

It may not be healthy but it is making my mouth water! Yummy!

That sounds really good. I may use that when I feed the football team (yes, really) on Saturday mornings.

  3. Looks tasty! You have to have something that’s not super healthy every once in awhile, right;)?

  4. This sounds so good, I’m actually trying to figure out when I can make this.

    I’m thinking on Saturday!

  5. Oooh, that sounds so good!

Sounds great. Another short cut breakfast is to cut up pilsbury tube biscuits into 1/4 and mix with melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. I mix it with my hands, mom uses her mixer w/ bread hook on low. Put into buttered bake dish. Mom puts maraschino cherries and pecans in the bottom and turns hers out of a bundt pan onto a serving plate. Top with maraschino cherries, or pecans or whatever you like on sticky roll. A family member even mixed in raisins once. (The ingredients can be added in as well).

  7. Patricia says:

Could you please tell me the temperature that it is baked at? This sounds delicious and I love the fact that I can use whole wheat bread since I always have that on hand. It makes it almost seem healthy too.

  8. Patricia, I am so sorry. No one else has noticed that I left the temperature out. It is 350 degrees. I edited the post to add that. Thanks for letting me know. Let me know how you like it. I love hearing how people like my recipes.

  9. Do you think raw honey would work in place of the corn syrup?
