Happy Thanksgiving

Since this week is Thanksgiving, I took the opportunity to ask my kids to write down what they are thankful for. I love doing things like this. It is fun to see things through the eyes of a child.
My six year old son’s list, spelling mistakes and all. I did include my translation though:
fod (food)

dog

crs (cars)

God

fis (fence) ( I really can’t figure this one out. I think he was just looking out the window trying to get done)

pond

My eight year old daughter’s:

food

clothes

toys

glasses

mom

dad

my sister

my brother

computer

sewing machine

My ten year daughter’s:
our dogs

my family

our house

clothing

for school

for food

for books

our toys

for friends

church

and laptop (she does some of her schooling on her computer)

My list of things to be thankful for is too long to post, but I hope you enjoyed my kids’ lists.

Happy Thanksgiving and remember to take time to give thanks for all the Lord has given us!
