    Lemonade Pie

    2 graham cracker pie crusts
    2 containers Cool Whip
    2 cans sweetened condensed milk
    1 can lemonade

Combine Cool Whip, sweetened condensed milk, and lemonade. Stir until thoroughly combined and creamy. Pour into two pie crusts. Freeze overnight, and serve frozen.

My mom made this when I was growing up, and it’s a summer staple at my own house now.

What size lemonade do you use?

@Siggy Spice, It’s the frozen lemonade. I think the cans are about 12oz or so. Allow the lemonade to thaw a little, so that it’s easier to mix with the other ingredients.

There are so many, but I love slow cooker applesauce. It doesn’t get much cheaper or easier and with all the spices, served warm I think it’s a great dessert.

I tried the no-bake chocolate bars tonight and they were a HUGE hit around here. They were so yummy that I shared them with 2 friends. Thanks!

@Leslie, I am so glad that you liked them. My family likes them better than the no bake cookies. It is basically the same thing, but in a bar, but we still like them better. Thanks for letting me know!

Homemade popsicles! Quick to make (though they take some time to freeze):

Yes, you did make me hungry! My favorite frugal dessert is brown butter rice crispy treats! It’s similar to the regular recipe, but you brown the butter first, which gives them a whole new flavor without much extra cost (I say much extra b/c there is more butter in them). I know rice krispies has malt in them so are you not allowed to have them? If so, sorry I offered up something you can’t enjoy. I know you can get gluten-free rice cereal but I’m sure if it’s labeled “gluten-free” it’s automatically 4x more expensive! 🙁

@Veronica Miller, I have been buying the GF ones. Yes, they are expensive, but most gf stuff is. Thanks for the idea, I will have to try it.

I am trying the no bake bars with Nulla instead of chocolate chips (I never seem to have any). So far very yummy!
