More Of My Daughter’s Work

I am sorry to be posting again about things that have nothing to do with food. But I really wanted to show off some more of my daughter’s crochet work.

When we went to Oregon in July she received orders for twenty-four doilies. She has been working hard to complete the orders. She had an order for a friend of my moms. This person works over seas and wanted to buy twenty doilies to take back with her to use as gifts. My daughter B has been working really hard on the order. She completed twelve of them and her teacher helped her finish the order by crocheting eight.

Her crochet teacher has been crocheting for over fifty years and does beautiful work. We were really glad that she could help with the order. The lady that placed the order was more than willing to let B’s teacher help.

So, here are some pictures of their work.

Here is what B did.

And here is what her teacher did.

Didn’t they do a really good job. If you want to see more pictures you can check out B’s blog here.

Well, B’s other aunt also thinks they look great. Grandma Ina would be so proud!! Should I wait a few weeks to put in my Christmas gift order? 🙂

Such beautiful work and so inspiring that she is achieving this at such a young age. I know you are very proud of her :o)
