Note To Self

If you are shopping on a warm day, and Sam’s Club is your first stop, do not buy a big bag of chocolate chips. They will melt and when they cool they will form a big blob of chocolate. Not very usable for chocolate chips cookies.

I usually bring several coolers with me. Today I forgot and only had a cooler bag. I placed my cold products in that cooler bag, but could not fit my chocolate chips. I should have waited until next time to buy the chocolate. I need to remember this for next time.

Has anyone else done this before?

  1. No, not me! LOL! Oh, yeah! I ended up breaking the chocolate into chunks so then we had chocolate chunk cookies/brownies. ๐Ÿ˜€ All is not lost!!

  2. That is what I figure I will do. But not exactly what I wanted to do with a large bag of chocolate chips. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Snow White says:

never… actually, too many times to count.

use a ice pick and go at the blob… you can make your own chips — they just don’t look as pretty ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Anne Alagna says:

When we lived in Southern California, we had to make a special trip just for Sams for that reason!

And my advise is to put the chunk of chips next to your bed with your favorite reading material. You will find that it disappears quickly, no worries. =D

  5. Ha Ha No that would not happen in Idaho – it is too cold here most of the time. I would love it though. It would give me an excuse to hack off chunks of chocolate and eat it right out of the bag!! YUM!

(Can you tell I am dieting right now? ha ha)
