Need a quick and easy dinner? Love your Instant Pot or need more Instant Pot recipes? Instant Pot Cheeseburger Helper is a simple dinner that your family is sure to love.

Instant Pot Cheeseburger Helper

It is no secret that I love quick and easy meals. We all have those nights that we don’t want to cook or have a lot of time to cook. Let’s be honest, we probably have more of those kind of nights than we care to admit.

Getting quick and easy meals on the table that your family loves can be a challenge.

Instant Pot Homemade Cheeseburger Helper

That is why I love one pot meals. The are usually quick to make and don’t require a lot of dishes. That means less mess and less clean up.

They also tend to use basic ingredients that I always have on hand.

I have been making one pot meals for years. I am slowly adapting my favorite one pot meals for the Instant Pot to make them even easier to make.

Don’t have an Instant Pot? I have a variation of this recipe that I have made for years that is made on the stove top. Click here for my Homemade Cheeseburger Helper Recipe.

If you have an Instant Pot though I think this is a meal both your kids and you will love!

Instant Pot Hamburger Helper

Instant Pot Cheeseburger Helper is a homemade version of that famous boxed pasta dinner. Yes, that one. But the homemade version is better.

Not only does it taste better, you control the ingredients so you know exactly what goes into it. Be sure to add it to your menu plan soon!

I made this last night since I needed something for lunches. I made it GF with ground turkey and chicken broth. I think I will change the time to 6 minutes next time since the macaroni was a little mushy. It was very good and will definitely make it again.
Thank you for all of your great GF recipes!

I am so glad that you enjoyed it! The ground turkey is a great idea. I have not experimented with different brands of pasta with this, gf pasta varies so much in size and ingredients, I am guessing that the time will vary a little bit. But I am glad that you enjoyed it. I love helping people make gluten free easy and delicious so thank you for taking the time to let me know that you enjoyed it.

Can I use oat milk (use full-fat Silk oat milk) and delete the cheese?
I am daily intolerant (protein in daily not lactose intolerant)
I have been looking for a hamburger helper
    Thanks so much

I have not tried this dairy free. If you have done it with similar recipes, it might work, but the taste and texture will be different.

I made this tonight using whole wheat wide egg noodles and venisonburger. It was delicious and a keeper! I’m soooo glad I saw your menu for the week as we tried, and loved your stovetop mac and cheese too. 🙂
