Cheesy Corn Dog Muffins

My family loves these Cheesy Corn Dog Muffins. They are perfect to keep on hand in the freezer for a quick lunch or dinner.

I will say though that these are not like the deep fried, on the stick, type of corn dog. If that is what you are wanting, these probably are not for you. Just being honest here.

These are moist. These are not fried. And although they are not healthy, they are healthier than most corn dogs. And if you use a gluten free hot dog these are gluten free.

My kids loves these and I hope yours do too!

  1. my husband would love these–and they’d be great for the nights i’m on campus late and he has to fend for himself. thanks! :)

  2. Just made these… thought all the kids would love them! Again, kids prove me wrong… Big kids were totally put off by the corn in them… but the little kid’s devoured them! So, despite the big kids’ protest, I WILL be making these again! I did put in extra cornmeal cause it was very soupy when I mixed the batter… Thanks for the recipe! (Also love that these are freezer friendly!)

  3. Hmm… Nothing in mind for dinner tonight, and I know I have 6 or 8 hot dogs in the fridge but no buns to put them on — I think this sounds like a winning combination! Thanks for the oh-so-timely post. :D

  4. I made a gluten free/egg free version of these not too long ago. Although, mine may qualify as more “yankee” since there’s sugar in them, lol!

  1. [...] Corn-dog muffins. “What in the world?” you might be saying. Hear me out. Bake up some corn muffins (from scratch or a box), add in some chopped sausage links, and serve with either a little cheddar melted on top (savory) or a drizzle of maple syrup (sweet.) Super simple to make ahead and very kid-friendly. [...]
