A Good Trip To Walmart

I had a really good trip to Walmart this week. This is not a picture of my whole trip, but this is a picture of my great deal.

My kids were thrilled with what I found. We have had plenty of desserts and snacks recently, but they have been homemade. My kids were very excited to see store bought cookies.

When I was shopping at Walmart this week I glanced at the clearance cart in the food section. Usually there is not much on the cart that I am interested in. But this week they had on a lot of health or so called health foods on clearance. I decided to stock up on some convenience items since it was such a good deal. Plus, the cookies say they are healthy. Okay, so they are not healthy, but they are better than most store bought cookies. It will be nice to have something in the pantry to use when I do not have time to bake.

So here is what I got.

  • 5 boxes of Annie’s Cereal @ $1 a box = $5
  • 5 packages of Newman’s Own @ $1 each = $5
  • 5 packages of Health Valley Cookies @ 75 cents each = $3.75
  • 2 packages of Granola @ $1 each = $2
  • Total for these 17 items = $15.75

Don’t you love good deals on healthier versions of our favorite foods.
