Phoebe is posting all about freezing meals today. She asked for tips and recipes for freezer meals. I thought since I have had a lot of new readers lately it would be a good time to link to a few of the posts that I have done on freezer cooking.

My favorite freezer meal is Indian food – Spinach paneer and lentils and I even include rice in single serving containers. When my husband has nothing to take to work, he has a “frozen dinner” that is already prepared (and a LOT cheaper than the $4 Amy’s organic meals). Indian food is one of those things that I can’t seem to make in small quantities – that and chili. Cheers!

I have my freezer stocked usually during pregnancy and right before birth to get through those early, tired postpartum days. I have about 18 meals crammed in there now (baby #4 is due in a very short time!). I’ve never kept up with the freezer meals afterward, but I have a feeling I’ll keep doing them as I anticipate a very busy household with four kids! Freezer meals are very convenient!
