Food is an important part of life. It is an essential part of life. We have to eat to live. We cannot survive without food and water.

Because food is such an important part of life, I think it is very important to teach our kids how to cook. And it is important to not only teach them how to cook, but to teach them about food and where it comes from. If you show them the entire process you will give them knowledge they will use for life.

Summertime is one of the best times to teach your kids about food. There are so many farmers markets and u-pick farms open. Take the time to seek out some options in your area to teach your kids about food and where it comes from.

A simple trip to a farm for berry picking, will give them a look into the work that goes into the food we eat and you might even have some fun in the process of learning.

And because I feel that teaching your kids how to cook is so important, and because summer is the perfect time to teach your kids to cook, I am having a sale on my Cooking 101 For Kids ebook.

The regular price on my Cooking 101 For Kids ebook is $4.99, but for a limited time you can receive $3 off by entering the discount code SUMMER at checkout. This makes it only $1.99! That is a great price!
