Homemade granola bars are an easy homemade treat to make. You can control the ingredients and make them just how you like them.

Because of my daughter’s nut allergy, we have made homemade granola bars for years. We make them at least a few times a month. We love to change up the flavors and make all different kinds.

Chocolate Chip Granola Bars, Chex Granola Bars, and Dark Chocolate Cherry Granola Bars are all favorites at our house.

White Chocolate Raspberry Granola Bars

I recently wanted to change it up and decided to come up with a new flavor combination for homemade granola bars.

I had some freeze dried strawberries that I decided to try in the homemade granola bars. I love berries and white chocolate together, so I decided to add in some white chocolate as well.

The result was a delicious homemade White Chocolate Berry Granola Bar.

Can I use other fruit?

Yes, this would work well with freeze dried raspberries or blueberries. I haven’t tried it with dried apples, but I think that would work as well.

Are homemade granola bars gluten free?

If you use gluten free oats and gluten free rice cereal they are gluten free. Be sure to read labels to make sure your oats and cereal are gluten free.

If you are gluten free be sure to do your research on gluten free oats. My family can tolerate gluten free oats, but some that are gluten free cannot. Do your research and use what you feel is safe for your family.
