Christmas Party 2023

Dec 11, 2023

Every December, we have a Christmas party for my husband’s office. I make all kinds of candy and desserts for the party and send them home with the staff and their families.

christmas candy and chocolate on a table

Over the years, I have shared many of the recipes here on my site. Some years, like last year and 2017, I put together a list of the recipes that I have made.

Some years, I keep the recipes simple, and some years, I make more complicated recipes.

This year, I kept it fairly simple. I know you are busy this time of year, too, so I decided to put together a list of all the recipes that I made this year.

I hope that it helps make your Christmas baking and candy making easier.

Chocolate Pumpkin Seed Bark

You only need two ingredients for this chocolate pumpkin seed bark. It is one of my favorite copycat recipes to make this time of year.

Caramel Chex Mix Recipe with m&m's on cookie sheet and red napkin

My caramel Chex mix is a cross between Chex mix and caramel corn. It is so good. It is one of those candies that I can’t stop eating once I make it.

Caramel Chex mix also makes a fun food gift.

Chocolate Raspberry Chex Mix-

Chocolate raspberry Chex mix is another fun food gift. I made it and put it in holiday food bags for people to take home.

Cookie Bark pieces on white, blue and black background

I also made Oreo Cookie bark. This works well with gluten free sandwich cookies. I also made a mint version with mint Oreos this year that was really good.

double chocolate peppermint bark

My daughter made double chocolate peppermint bark for me. It is one of her favorites so she loves to make it for me. I really need to update the pictures. I guess that means I might have to make it again this year.

Coffee Fudge

I was going to make my coffee fudge, but I decided I wanted to make something a little bit easier. I ended up making the sweetened condensed milk fudge because it only takes a couple of ingredients.

I made a pan of the classic recipe and I also made a pan that I stirred holiday M&M’s into.

I would love to hear what holiday baking and candy making you have been doing.
