Gluten Free Peaches and Cream Pancakes

Gluten free peaches and cream pancakes anyone?! One of my main goals with gluten free cooking is to make food and meals that taste as good as the real thing. Just because it is gluten free, does not mean that it has to taste bad or even gluten free. Gluten free can and should be good. These pancakes are a perfect example of that. […]

Gluten Free Blueberry Corn Muffins

If you have read my site for long then you know we love muffins. I usually make them at least once a week and am always looking for new versions, especially gluten free versions. These muffins are perfect right now because it is blueberry season in many parts of the country. And if you do not have fresh blueberries, frozen ones would work fine here. […]

Creamy Orange Smoothie

The warm weather months are the perfect time for smoothies. A creamy and cold smoothie on a warm day is the perfect breakfast, lunch, or snack. This creamy orange smoothie is one I made recently when I really wanted a smoothie, but I did not have much for fresh or frozen fruit. It was quick and easy to make and we loved it.

Fried Apples Over French Toast

Sometimes it is the simple foods that are the best. Fried Apples served over french toast. DELICIOUS! You really should give it a try.

Fried Apples

Nothing says comfort food quite like fried apples. They are a simple, easy, frugal, and old fashioned comfort food. I do have one question though. Are fried apples a dessert, a side dish, a delicious breakfast treat, or all three? I will admit that we have used them for all three. What do you think?
